Why not Looker, Tableau, or Metabase?

Those are great for analysts who know SQL. They fail for operators who want "revenue by service line this week vs last" without learning a tool. We build the dashboard as an app — specific views your team opens, specific KPIs that matter to your business, specific formulas you actually use. Power users can still hit the underlying warehouse with whatever BI tool they like.

Do I need a data warehouse?

We'll set one up as part of the build — Postgres for most clients, BigQuery or Snowflake for larger data. Hosted in your cloud account so you own it. Add $50–$200/mo to hosting for the warehouse on small-to-medium workloads.

How do I change a KPI after launch?

The formulas admin UI lets your finance lead edit KPI definitions directly. SQL-lite syntax, preview against historical data, version-controlled with rollback. New KPIs that need custom pipelines are a 1–3 day add-on.

How fresh is the data?

Standard pipeline runs nightly at 2am local. Critical KPIs can be upgraded to hourly or near-real-time (5–15 min lag) for an extra warehouse tier. For truly live numbers, we read directly from source systems on load — slower, but real-time.

What if my data is messy?

Most clients' data is messy. Part of discovery is data audit — duplicate records, inconsistent naming, fields that got repurposed mid-year. We clean what we can in the pipeline and flag the rest for your ops team to fix at the source.

How long to launch?

Three to five weeks. Week 1: KPI discovery and source mapping. Week 2–3: connector + pipeline build. Week 4: dashboard UI + permissions. Week 5: data audit, formula polish, rollout. Fixed-price after the 1-week discovery phase.
