How customized is a playbook, really?
The playbook gives you a working agent on day one — the qualification questions, objections, and compliance rules are generic to your vertical. Days 2–5 we customize for your specific business: pricing thresholds, your service area, your competitor callouts, your brand voice. You end up with an agent that knows your industry and your business.
What if my industry isn't in the list?
We build new playbooks every quarter, usually with a lighthouse customer who gets a discount in exchange for co-designing the template. If you're willing to spend 4 hours with us on the playbook content, we can productize your industry in 2 weeks.
How is this different from a custom AI agent build?
A full custom build takes 2–3 weeks of discovery to map your qualification logic and objections. A playbook skips that because the work is already done for your vertical. Trade-off: you're working from a template, not a blank page. For 80% of businesses, the template is better.
Does it handle compliance (HIPAA, UPL, etc.)?
Yes, at the playbook level. The med spa / dental playbook is HIPAA-compliant (no PHI retention unless you've signed a BAA, specific script limits). The legal playbook won't give specific legal advice — it books consultations. We pass the compliance rules through to every channel the agent runs on.
Can I use it on voice, chat, and outbound all at once?
Yes — one playbook per industry runs across all channels by default. The questions and objection handlers adapt in tone (voice is terser, chat is more conversational, outbound is more persuasive) but the underlying logic is shared.
How long to launch?
Seven business days. Day 1: playbook walkthrough and your customization inputs. Day 2–3: brand voice + business-specific tuning. Day 4: dry run with 50 test calls/chats. Day 5–7: live on a slice, then full cutover.
