Putopia Privacy Policy

Putopia is a personal media player developed by Go Biz Help. It lets you browse and play the files in your own put.io cloud storage and, optionally, connect your own IPTV subscription. This policy explains what happens to your information. The short version: Putopia does not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

Information we do not collect

Go Biz Help does not operate analytics, advertising, tracking, or user accounts for Putopia. We do not receive your name, email, location, contacts, usage analytics, or device identifiers. Putopia contains no third-party advertising or analytics software.

Credentials stay on your device

To use Putopia you provide your own put.io access token and, if you choose, your own IPTV provider details. These credentials are stored only in the device Keychain. If you enable iCloud Keychain, Apple syncs them, in encrypted form, between your own devices — they are never sent to Go Biz Help. You can remove them at any time by signing out or deleting the app.

Connections the app makes

  • put.io — Putopia connects directly to put.io using the token you provide, to list and stream your files. Your use of put.io is governed by put.io’s own privacy policy.
  • Your IPTV provider — if you add one, Putopia connects directly to the server address you enter. That provider’s privacy policy applies to that connection.
  • Media catalog — Putopia downloads artwork, genres, and ratings for titles in your library from a Go Biz Help service. This is a one-way, read-only lookup of public film and television metadata. No personal information about you is uploaded in the process.
  • Device setup transfer — when you copy your setup to another device, the data is end-to-end encrypted with a one-time code and sent either directly over your local network or through a temporary relay that only ever holds the encrypted bundle for a few minutes. Go Biz Help cannot read it.

On-device storage

Your favorites, recently watched list, watch progress, and downloaded files are stored on your device and, where you have enabled it, synced through your personal iCloud. This information is not visible to Go Biz Help.

Children

Putopia is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the revised version at this address.
